Alto High-Speed Rail (HSR) – Open House in City of Pickering

ALTO (formerly VIA-HFR) is leading the development of a high-speed rail (HSR) network across Ontario, ultimately connecting Toronto to Quebec City. Its mandate is to deliver a modern, efficient rail system that improves regional mobility, supports economic growth, and significantly reduces travel times between major urban centers.

ALTO is currently conducting public consultations to gather feedback on its proposed HSR project. This initiative presents a significant opportunity for the Pickering community and the Durham Region to demonstrate support and strengthen advocacy for a future station within the City.
